Worthy Faithful Navigators and Color Corps Commanders:
This is to all of the Sir Knights that have ordered the new regalia and received it. We are taking a lot of criticism from those that are not intending on participating in the Color Corps after June 30th, 2019. Thank you to all of you that have ordered and to those of you that are planning on ordering the new regalia. I have heard nothing but compliments from both of our Bishops and every priest that I have visited on Call Outs across the Phoenix Diocese. If someone states that “Even the priest does not like the regalia change”, baloney! Give me a name and I or another Marshal will personally visit with that priest to discuss his issues.
As an FN, you need to appoint a CCC that has or intends to get the new regalia. As a CCC, even if you haven’t received yours yet, you need to be able to instruct proper wear of the beret to those that attend your Call Outs.
If you chose not to buy, that’s your choice. Not everyone gets regalia or can afford at this time to order new regalia. That being said, please do not allow those in your Assembly to belittle or insult those of your brothers that have done so and wear the regalia proudly.
One of the targets for criticism is how we fail to wear the beret “correctly”.
So, I want to take a moment and share a couple of things to assist those of us that served before the beret, did not serve or couldn’t.

Then, you should google ” how to form the beret”.
Keep in mind, there are several ways to wear the beret, i.e., length over the ear. I suggest to the middle of the right ear as per the below US Army regulation. I have been walking around the house all morning with a beret drying on my head!
As a critic online has pointed out, I may look like Saddam Hussein in the beret, but dang, I do look good in this! LOL!!!
